Signal and this phone

Hi all,

So I'm curious about how the htc one m8 doesn't have a completely blocked signal given it's made out of aluminium.

I believe The antenna is at the top of the phone under the plastic strip..

There's two strips of rubber on the back, one at the top and the other at the bottom. Those strips are where the antennas are, or at least where they connect to the outside of the phone to receive the data they require.

But IAmSixNine got it right: it is engineering at its finest.

Yeah cheers guys. I looked it up and it's pretty nifty I asked because I was interested in metal covers or shells and was wondering how they'd have to be designed to not block signals xD
