Why is my HTC One M8 having issues loading web pages?

HTC One M8 mobile data issue on Net 10 in LTE

I have the HTC One M8 (developer's edition). It was an unlocked AT&T phone but I am using it on Net 10. The data via wireless is fine. If I switch to mobile data I can use any of the android apps (Facebook, mail, etc), I can even use google search and get a results page.....BUT if I click on one of the links that shows up after a search......the page NEVER loads. The progress bar starts but then just stops. No error message. This happens in all browsers on all pages. I've tried alternate apn settings. It seems to happen only in LTE. If I disable LTE then it works fine but why should I have to settle for a slower connection. HTC says its a carrier issue. The carrier says its the phone. Does anyone know what this might be?????

Just to make sure here.
You can pull up any number of pages in your browser history, one after the other. And they load and display quickly.
But if you click any link on those pages, the link page load fails to complete.
So the problem isn't about requesting new pages, but about the browser's links?
