Before lollipop I can't think of a single time this happened so I wonder if its a bug in the latest software. On several occasions I have found that after a call I have switched on NFC or brought up the brightness or Bluetooth menu. I believe the quick settings pull down is being activated by my face when on a call. Anyone else had this? The proximity sensor does work and the screen goes off when I first make the call but maybe it doesn't last and it becomes active again for some resson? Very strange and somewhat annoying although nothing bad has actually happened because of it so far!
