Please forgive me if this is the wrong spot for this thread. This is my first post here and have no idea where to put this.

My question is that my HTC One m8 fell and the screen cracked and then two days later stopped charging and recognizing USB and of course it was rooted before this happened. So it's being sent back to htc for repairs. Phone can't be powered on so I couldn't restore it. So my question is can they see the root status? Will they care? They sent me another phone and the same Damn day I lost my wallet (crappy day) and I canceled all my debit cards including the one they charged for the hold that they removed. So should I be worried?

Thanks guys

So they sent you a new phone, so that made it an exchange. So they will probably not notice or care. They will just refurbish the phone and re-flash with the latest software and send it to the next poor soul that drops his. As for the credit card they will not need it unless they never get your back.
