Question for Gunmetal and Glacier Silver Owners

I have the painted black Harmon Kardon edition and it is getting pretty chipped up since I removed it from it's dot case about a month ago. My question is how are your phones looking a year later without a case? I'm in the process of ordering a new aluminum body and would like to know which one holds up the best nekkid.

I can't really say much about which is more durable but if you are picking one to go with a case then grab the Glacier Silver. Gun Metal Grey if you plan on not using a case with it as it looks proper mint.

After watching a tear down of the phone, I decided to stick a slim incipio case on the black shell and just change the speaker grills to blue on my own. I've always hated the gold grills they used on the HK version, so am happy I can easily swap them for under $10. I fear the phone would never be the same if I let a shop tear it apart to swap the back and replace the battery while they are in there. Hopefully changing color and a slim case will be enough to get me to the M10.
