It depends on the case. There should be name on it somewhere. (If you mean the case of the phone itself, don't. Bring it to a shop if it needs repair.)
If it's an aftermarket case, like an Otterbox, and you give us the name, someone probably has one and can give you a step by step to remove it. (The first time I tried to remove my Otterbox Defender, I had to seek assistance. Now I don't even look at it, I can do it by feel.)
