Songs randomly disappearing from playlists
Hello. I keep having songs disappear from my music playlists on my HTC One M8, running android 5.0.2. This is using the android music app. For example:
I had one playlist with 30 songs. One week later, it had gone down to 25. Another week later, it was at 12. The next time I checked, it was at 2.
Another playlist I created slowly whittled down over time until it had 0 songs left.
I have Saved each playlist every time, I have not been moving or renaming files. I turn off my phone every night while it charges. I created playlists and used them successfully for several days until the songs started just disappearing on their own. Music is stored on the SD card. I don't remove the card ever or rename files in any way on the card.
I do notice however that under the "recently added" playlist, the songs keep changing even though I haven't added any new content. Songs I put on a long time ago pop up as "recently added" and it's different every week.
Can anyone help on this?
