Web viewer and Mail App Crashes

Every time I try to compose a message in the HTC mail app it crashes. I had to do the uninstall Android System Web view updates to get it to stop but will doing so screw up any other services or apps?

I gave up trying to use the HTC Mail app, cleared the data and installed Outlook for now, since I used the app for Outlook, Hotmail and Yahoo this seems to work well.

I have given Blue Mail a shot and so far no more email issues. Bonus it now actually syncs in push mode as well.

Your phone will work fine without the update.

I deleted the update and mail is up and running fine again. There are no problems with any other app. I rarely update the Web View program, but chose this one to update! Lessin learned.

What device are you using ? Did you check the htc sense version?
If you are running sense version 7.0 try updating the mail app through your google play store .
