GPS Hardware Question

Hi,

Short version is I replaced my screen and speakers a few months ago and I accidentally snapped a small part of the top board, when I put it back together everything seemed to work fine so I thought nothing of it.

Now I was trying to play Pokemon Go and I noticed my GPS doesnt follow me well and if it does lock on I am a street or so away and it just doesnt seem to communicate well.

I have tried reformatting my phone, turning on High Accuracy, turning on/off wifi and bluetooth scanning but nothing seems to work.

I opened the phone and this is the bit I managed to break:


I just bought a new top board from eBay to see if this works.

Would this be the reason my GPS doesn't work well or is there anything else I can try before I fit it?

I downloaded an app called "GPS Status" and all it says for me is Looking for GPS Location and never changes...
