MyMobiler with HTC One M8

Back in the WinMo days this app, MyMobiler, was awesome. It allowed remote control of the phone on your desktop, using the USB cable. You could use the mouse and the keyboard from the PC to email, text, etc...from the phone. Reportedly it is available for Android but I have never been able to get it to work for me on any HTC phone. Currently have a One M8. If someone has set this up to work on a One M8 I would be grateful for some advice and assistance.

Well, I have it ALMOST figured out. I can now run the software on my desktop and my mobile device. I do get "a" screen appearing on my desktop. Unfortunately, it is just a black screen and NOT what is actually shown on the mobile device. I can type text onto the desktop image of the black screen. That text does show up on the mobile device if I am in a text msg input mode, for example. But, the mobile device image is not transferring to the desktop. Where is the help I need???

Gave up on MyMobiler. Using a Google Chrome extension and it works almost as good. VYSOR
