Setup T-mobile from Verizon unlocked HTC One M9?

I have T-mobile and bought an unlocked HTC One M9 online and unknown to me it says Verizon on the back. I put my sim card in and it works for calls and text, but it still displays "Verizon" and says "Non Verizon SIM" when the phone turns on. It also has a bunch of Verizon programs installed on it. Is there anyway to quickly remove all Verizon programs and references?

Also, is there anything else I should do in order to setup my T-mobile account on this phone?

Thats a CDMA / LTE phone.
My suggestion would be to get a T-Mobile branded phone so you will not have any issues with LTE B12 compatibility and you will get WiFi calling features.
