That's strange they'd have three different versions like that. Hopefully they do a better job marketing this than they did the One. I just wish there was a Google Play edition.

A GPE release would be great for this device.

The three different versions the HTC One Max I assume are dedicate to specific consumer markets. These consumer markets based on price meaning S800 may be to expensive for certain markets so S600 and S4 would be better suited.

I believe the S800 most likely would come US based on simply being market that could afford the S800.

The only thing I am disappointed about this device is the stand by time.

It is minor bump for much larger battery than HTC One.

    HTC One
    BATTERY
    Non-removable Li-Po 2300 mAh battery
    Stand-byUp to 500 h (2G) / Up to 480 h (3G)
    Talk timeUp to 27 h (2G) / Up to 18 h (3G)

    HTC One Max
    BATTERY
    Non-removable Li-Po 3300 mAh battery
    Stand-by (2G) / Up to 585 h (3G)
    Talk time (2G) / Up to 25 h (3G)

FYI THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PROCESSOR BUT THE SOFTWARE.

Based on reviews it seems HTC One Max fingerprint works but is not fundamental practical to actually use. This unfortnate as this was an intriguing figure I wanted done well with the HTC One Max.

As far as I'm concerned, the scanner will serve one purpose. Unlock the device. If it can do that, it has served it's purpose entirely in my mind.

Simply it works but not convenient to use.(Based on reviews)

That will vary person-to-person, depending on hand size and how they hold the device. I have big hands (XXL gloves for reference) so I think it will be great for me. If I had smaller hands, I would probably get a One anyway, so it would be a non-issue.

    But again, that's purely subjective...

what about the sound system? is the boomsound better than the beats?

is there still hissing sound issues with this phone?

and another, does play store runs with this mobile and can we install nova or go launcher to customize the icons as well?

hope you all reply to my query, i am still in doubt buying this phone. thanks
