Feels good in the hand, but yeah — it's big.

It's a polycarbonate trim similar to the HTC One Mini. It's quite a bit thicker as you'd expect. 10.29mm at the thickest point versus 9.3mm on the One.

No I meant bands. I've seen all the specs reported on diff sites was hoping it wasn't true.

They're pogo pins. You use them to connect the official battery case — a kind of flip case where the front is actually a 1200mAh battery.

There's a new note-taking app called Scribble. Nothing like multi-window or pen window.

Depends what you mean by power. As it's basically an HTC One on the inside, its power is already a known quantity.

Same as the HTC One, behind the speaker grille. Can't see any way to customize it.

Very tough to say. The Note 3 is more vivid, whereas I think the Max looks a bit more realistic. It's more a case of differences than better/worse.
