Default Is the HTC One Max still worth it?

So, I've been thinking about picking the One Max up. It's getting relatively cheap out there. Not a fan of the M8, but i liked the M7. The M7 is just way too small for me screen wise. I like my Note 3, but I want Sense. I did see 6.0 hit the Verizon model today. I'm concerned we won't see L.

It depends on your preferences, the Max won't receive L tho. I may be wrong though. Its still a very good phone.

Not when there's a rumor of a sequel possibly. Maybe.

M7 is a good phone, even with backward processor and occasional lag with finger scanner (due to case maybe..) it's still a very device.. And YES L is coming to the M7.

Also M8 MAX coming soon, "probably" with Dust/Water proofing and 3Gb Ram and 12MP camera.

The HTC one max is absolutely worth it!! I've had my max for about a year, and I love it! The processor is only 600 but games like modern combat still performs flawlessly I've yet to experience any lagging, which some people complain about, also the rear camera isn't all that great at 4mp but to me that's not a big deal because I'm not a photographer. Sense is awesome, plus unlocking the boot loader is easy I love flashing custom kernels/boot/splash screens/ROMs. Screen resolution is also awesome at 1080×1920p. At 5.9" its great for gaming and watching movies! If your thinking about buying the HTC One max and if unlocking the boot loader really matters to you then this is the phone I would suggest!

There's not very many devices left on Verizon and At&t network in which the bootloader is unlockable and the HTC One MAX is one that I would recommend if u want total control of your device. If rooting and unlocking isn't your thing, then I would go with the note 4 or the note 4 edge.
