I have an HTC One Mini bought just 3 weeks ago. It has developed the following problem.
The battery state indicator shows 77% and will not change. I can leave it on the charger overnight and there is no change. I can use it all day and there is no change. Further, the charge light shows orange when charging and never goes to green.
I installed a few apps to show the battery state independently or the system display. But the apps seem not to measure the battery state independently but simply read the system resource because they too all say 77% and don't change.
I'm trying to avoid sending it back for a warranty fix because it is the only phone I have that will take my mini SIM and I don't want to be without a phone. So any help would be appreciated.
