I went in this morning and picked up the One S at T-mo. I really like it so far. I had a Nexus One, so I'm getting used to ICS 4.0. I've been so used to Gingerbread, that I keep wanting to hit the Menu key but there isn't one haha. So far my apps have worked. I am just having trouble getting the phone to let me use Google Voice as my main Voice Mail number. But the speed is great. I was able to download a butt load of apps while I was talking on the phone (sound quality was great!). My only grip so far is that there isn't a case or screen protector out yet that I could immediately put on my phone. T-mobile didn't have any, well they had a clip on pouch, but I tried it out and even my little fingers had a hard time getting it out of the pouch. The only site I can find is Case-mate.com. I hate not having my phone protected. Hopefully in due time I can root this baby so I can remove the bloatware (but I have never rooted a phone...)
I like the hardware buttons (Like the N1), and it has a much better touch screen than my N1 which I was getting really frustrated with because every time I want to hit the space button I'd hit the letter "b".
Also right now you can trade your old smartphone in for $$ towards a new phone. I didn't do it because I didn't want to part with my Nexus One...
Oh and the HTC Sense 4.0 is pretty cool. I prefer Launcher Pro, but there is no lag in Sense.
oh...a huge CON for me also, is that the notification light, is itty bitty teeny weenie..... You can see it blink, but only when you're close to your phone. That is one thing I LOVED about my N1, the trackball would light up so bright I knew what kind of message I had from a distance.
Anyhow, What are your thoughts on it?
