Jelly Bean, When?

Any ideas as of yet when it is coming? They said this year but, I don't know if anyone has check the calendar lately because it is almost next year and still no update.

The update notification has to be sent by the device manufacturer. You can't manually do it.

Yeah I am aware of how the process works which not what I was asking for. My question was about if anyone knew or had any new info on when it was coming.

originally it was said to be before christmas... but now im starting to question that statement....
Although... the One X - updated, Once XL - updated, One X+ - updated, and the DNA - updated....
this only leaves the One S.... so it could still happen. fingers crossed

I am not familiar with their routines or how/where they push their updates.

Everyone will have doubts until they get the update as well. I believe that's just human nature. I just hope to get the update soon as well.

I'm using an UK Unbranded One S and I can't get the update... Still stuck on 4.0.3 and can't even upgrade to 4.0.4 for some reason. Everything's locked (bootloader etc) and I've never rooted and stuff.

Anybody got any tips on how I can get the update? HTC Support is bloody useless.

You need to wait until Jelly Bean is pushed to your device. The time of arrival may not be the same for all devices, ad far as I know.

One other question. I have a T mobile HTC One S and I received the .7 710RD update but I have yet to receive the .10 710RD update. Does someone have a update.zip of this?

Stop refreshing for now Ryandroid, the TMOUS Jellybean is coming but still 3-4 weeks out, it looks like, Tmonews says its just going into testing now on Tmobile.

How is it 'pushed'? - I am using a One S in the Middle East that is not supplied by the local carrier, so who pushes out updates?

Sorry if I seem a bit dumb about this but am a newby to Android from Iphones

Edit: thinking about it would it work if when I was next in the UK or US I put in a local simcard there Tmobile/vodaphone etc, would the phone then update?. This does seem like an awful lot of messing around for a simple update, why cant HTC juts publish the update on their website so anyone can download it like Apple does.

So on a live display One S in a store last week I was able to get jelly bean installed, however when I purchased my own One S there is no jelly bean update at all. I did purchase an unlocked version, is that the reason why the update isn't showing up?

wow. im beginning to grow weary.... what is exciting about jelly bean after 7 months of release date.... nothing. The reason I bought this phone was to have the latest and greatest.... well that didnt last long at all. HTC One S released in april... Jelly bean in July. and here comes February and Im still on ICS. I feel like it was a waste of money.

(sorry for the venting... im just very mad) and now they already have sense 5.0???? wow... super behind. My guess is we will never see S5.0. or JB4.2. Stupid HTC and Tmo. Im not very happy.
