Hi.

I guess my question is can my HTC One S have 4.2 camera and gallery without Rooting?

I don't like my gallery or camera app on 4.1.1. I have now. They don't seem fluid with Sense 4.1 on top as well.

It would be great if i could do this without root; does anyone know of a way?.

I've tried Quickpic and some other gallery apps but none are measuring up. Thanks for your ideas in advance, Ste.

there is not much you can do except downloading other galleries in the market.
4.2 gallery and camera are a completely separate than HTC Sense system applications. there is no way you can get it to work. you can always try "allow third party applications" and try downloading an apk from xda or wikiroot. but im almost positive it wont work because you cannot change permissions.
