Default HTC One V storage card and network issues

Hello, I've had the HTC One v for about a year now, and it's been an alright phone other then being slow sometimes. But, recently I've been having SD card issues. I've been getting the message saying "SD card unexpectedly removed." At the same time that's happening, I completely lose all signal strength, a "X" appears on the signal bar. I've tried to reset the phone to factory settings and formatted the SD card. It worked for about an hour, then started doing it again. Has anyone else experienced this? Did you fix it? If so, how? I have no idea what to do. It's just really annoying, thanks!

Have you dropped your V before?

How secure it the little cover back piece that slides on the bottom?

I have dropped it, but only once and that was way back when I first bought it. And I've never had the phone without a case, so it's pretty secure.

No there are no custom roms

Yes I have tried two SD cards and nothing has worked

    I'm on Virgin Mobile USA

The back cover? Like where the battery and stuff are? If so, no. I only remove the removable part, which is the little bottom peace where the SD card is.

Yeah, I didn't know what to call it xD.

I would send VM an email rather than to call. It's easier to get a replacement via email. Hopefully they'll still give you one, as it's over a year you said.

Well, Virgin Mobile isn't really known for having the best costumer service, and I was dumb enough not to buy insurance. And since the phone is so old, they probably wont give me one. I'll just use this as an excuse to switch companies and to buy a better more up to date phone, like the HTC one on T-Mobile or something. Anyway, thanks for at least trying to help.

I noticed it too, but when buying the phone and they offer insurance, I said no, as I believe it was a waste when VM gives free replacements. Calling them will just throw you in a repeat of " Factory Reset ".

When I sent them an email, the next email just asked me for a zip code :P
