I had this phone since 2013. And after three years the phone does not run without a charger now. When I remove the charger. If I'm on for two minutes without it charging, it shuts down(showing android system before flashing to HTC white screen, then briefly to the pre-unlock screen before going black). This phone was $150 when someone got it for me for Christmas of 2012. I don't know if the phone can be salvaged and I'm wondering if there are alternatives to what this phone provided that are available at that price point? I would like a phone that can play music like Tune-In or Pandora without buffer issues, lets me use fantasy sports apps, anti-virus(CM), sports app(The Score)? And also watch tv shows on it as I could watch anything on there.
If anyone is familiar with this model that has been discontinued, please let me know of a alternative that is just as cheap.
