The current rumor is that a device in the One family, codenamed HTC Jewel, will be Sprint's EVO LTE. That's all over the web as of last week.

It just passed through the FCC. So, hopefully the info starts flowing on where it will land besides ATT&T.

So realistically, what are we looking at as far as possible release dates? This phone was high on my list until I dropped my Evo 4G (today) and shattered the screen. I'm toying with just going and getting a Nexus or Galaxy 2. Would have preferred to wait until this or the Galaxy 3 was released.

This is pure speculation, but I'm thinking mid to late June. The EVO was released on 6/4 and the 3D on 6/24, so I'm making that an educated guess.

+1000 on being on board with this, only gripe I have atm is non removable battery, unless they build in an option to reboot manually through a combo of hardware buttons or pinhole, or some ish like that. My upgrade date was pushed back like many other Sprint contractees, from 12 to 22 months late last year so for me I'll be waiting till Dec 2012! Lets hope the Mayans got it wrong so i can bring home an EVO ONE X LTE!
