Please help...notification shade won't pull down.

Everything was fine with my new One X yesterday and then today the notification shade won't pull down. Tried a restart and then a factory reset. Still not working. I can't get to the notification center Any suggestions?Workarounds?

Mine was fine and still can be pulled down but I'm getting weird screen distortion in the battery bar and the pixels go ballistic just as I grab the notification bar.
Software related I'm sure.
Did you hold down sleep and volume up until the 3 soft keys start to flash?

Ya..gave that a try first...then did a factory reset and still did not fix. Its a software problem I'm sure. It's almost like a setting that was turned off. The screen works with everything else.

Best thing to do is maybe report it via the phone.
It's in the about phone menu.

Solved...unit was defective. Picked it up at a local import store near me so it was a painless exchange.
