Default HTC One X, WiFi File Transfer

I understand that there are apps already that let you do this via your web browser, but thats not what I am after.

I own a BlackBerry PlayBook, its set up on my PC as a "drive", its not plugged in, just connected over WiFi.

Is it possible to do the same with the HTC One X?

    Here is what I mean:

    - I click on GSRPB1 (P: )

    - It shows me what folders are on the PlayBook

    - All I have to do is copy & paste the content I want across to which ever folder I want. PC to PlayBook, or from PlayBook to PC.

No need to open up web browsers or special apps.

    Thanks,
    /Gurraj Singh

Without a web browser? Don't think so, unless you've got Wifi Direct rocking.

    This is pretty simple though.

    Thanks for your reply.
I did look at that app, was close to buying it, but thought I'd look around to see if there is something that works like my PlayBook on WiFi but for Android.

Im going to sound a bit dumb now, but what is WiFi Direct?

So I have had a look around at WiFi Direct, no one seems to know how to actually use it properly. Even less on how to use WiFi Direct from a Phone to a PC
