AT&T has the One X on display!!!!!!!

Got to play with it today and I must say it seems like a GREAT phone!!! The screen is unbelievable, so beautiful. Also, it felt very light yet good in the hand. Wish I could have taken it with me today. This was at the store in Avon, Indiana. - 04-28-2012, 01:41 PM #2

It's just a tease. I went to play with it yesterday now it's even harder to wait. Lol.

The AT&T store at the Pentagon City mall in Arlington, VA, also has a demo unit out. Pretty sweet. The screen is definitely the best I've ever seen on a phone.

Re: AT&T has the One X on display!!!!!!!
Spent about 15 minutes with a demo unit earlier today, I really liked it. It was smooth, responsive, great display, etc.
Went and handled a Skyrocket right after and while the in-hand feel is a wash, Sense 4 >>>> Touch Wiz, not even close - 04-28-2012, 06:34 PM #6

Re: AT&T has the One X on display!!!!!!!
Was at the local mall today... figured I'd check to see if they finally got one in. They did! Played with it and it is a daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice phone. A LITTLE bit too light and thin (hello, bigger battery?), a LITTLE bit big.... but so damn nice.
Also... was my first time using ICS. I didn't like the lack of a menu key. Took me 5 minutes to figure out how to change the wallpaper. - 04-28-2012, 07:31 PM #8

Txmade.. Am there with you bro'.. Played with the One X for a bit and thought it was cool, but I am always skeptical about jumping in on a brand new device until it's established a track record. Like most, I'm not a fan of the sealed back/battery issue, lack of microSD and concern about the camera lens getting badly scratched over time. I think the camera and screen is awesome and like Sense 4.0.. But I'm going to wait until more people have them in their hands and leave feedback here in this forum.. Battery life is of concern too

Re: AT&T has the One X on display!!!!!!!
I hear ya on the camera lens and SD card, however, every Android device that hits will have one or two major drawbacks. The GSIII is already expected to hit the US market with Snapdragon processors vs the Exynos Quad Core processors.
The Galaxy Nexus also has no sd card slot and is very popular. I look forward to using dropbox. I think that might be more beneficial because I can store so much more and have access to it 24/7. I got throttled today on my iPhone and I can still stream everything. Speeds are just under 512kbps which is a good day on Sprint lol. - 04-28-2012, 09:55 PM #11
Re: AT&T has the One X on display!!!!!!!
Played with one at the mall in Syracuse, NY today in the AT&T store. Had a Beats by Dre audio box set up around it with all of the Beats By Dre headphones (not the $99 earbuds though) available.
For those who have not seen the display in person......it is AMAZING!!!!!!! Don't know about the iPhone display, but it CLEARY makes any Samsung phone's display look like crap!!! Super LCD 2 FTW!!!
Other than that, it was very responsive, thinner than I expected but easy to hold. I don't have big hands but I was still able to hold it and swipe using one hand. The camera is very, very quick when it comes to taking pictures. Overall, I loved the phone, and I can't wait until the EVO4GLTE comes out for Sprint because that is the version on the HTC One X that I want. - 04-28-2012, 10:55 PM #12
Re: AT&T has the One X on display!!!!!!!
The iPhone display is still slightly sharper, but not something you would notice unless you have both displays side by side. On the plus side, the htc one x screen is MUCH bigger and seems to have more accurate colors, the iPhone seems washed out in comparison, but its not overly saturated like the samsung phones. I think overall its the best display on a phone yet, just one more week until its mine.

Re: AT&T has the One X on display!!!!!!!
I think everybody in the free world has gotten to hold this phone but me, lol! Of course my
AT&T store is like the only one in the world that doesn't have one.
Not a big deal as my phone I ordered should be here sometime this week hopefully!!
Anyone have experience with the Otterbox commuter cases? I am debating wheter I should order the case they have available with it.
I like that it comes with a screen protector for the phone. Is it thin enough to let the phone still be very responsive? - 04-30-2012, 12:11 PM #22
Re: AT&T has the One X on display!!!!!!!
I just pre-ordered the gray version. Added a line to get it, but I may use the other line for some work related business. I wanted the white one the most, but I just couldn't see myself keeping it clean. The white glass on my iPhone 4S is easy to clean, but I think plastic is more prone to staining from various things. The white one was definitely very nice. They had some nice Beats accessories in the store.
