Re: HTC One X: Hit or Miss?
The HTC One X is a HIT. The only one that missed here was AT&T, as it was definitely their decision to knock down the storage to 16GB (from 32GB). There are still other ways you can get storage without using "the cloud." I will be pursuing various avenues to find what works best for me. I just can't wait until I get this phone.

Re: HTC One X: Hit or Miss?
BAD TITLE...
It should read AT&T HTC One X.
Don't lay AT&T's mistake at HTC's door. The international GSM version and the Australian LTE version all have 32gig.
This is once again ATT's lame tweaking of a perfectly good device. The screwed up the Captivate, and the Atrix 2 with their tiny memory mentality.
HTC needs to grow a pair and learn to tell AT&T that they will not cheapen their excellent designs and ruin their reputation just to make a few million sales that they can make via some other channel. - 05-02-2012, 09:00 PM #8
Re: HTC One X: Hit or Miss?
The phone is so good, people will just learn to deal with 12GB of storage. Much better than to use a capable phone with a great UI rather than a mediocre phone with 32GB and more storage.

Re: HTC One X: Hit or Miss?
For me, any phone with a non-removable battery is a miss!

Re: HTC One X: Hit or Miss?
Im a lil annoyed about the lack of storage and AT&T trying to force users into higher data usage by relying on cloud services but love the heck out of the phone

hit for me. All the carries screw up the phones. I came from Verizon and the gnex and they screwed up that phone. 6 months no update and Verizon stamped on the back. Ya only 16gb of storage is not bad but could be better. Multitasking could be better but I work with it. The rest is pure greatness.

Re: HTC One X: Hit or Miss?
I use the International version and I don't see how any other phone in the market today can top it. Most complaints I hear about this phone are usually small technical issues.

Re: HTC One X: Hit or Miss?
I have the AT&T branded version, which I bought off contract for $549, and I am pleased with the 1X, sure it has its quirks (hopefully an upcoming update will fix most if not all?) but overall I feel that it is a great phone and I've had a few in the past 6 months Galaxy S2, Galaxy Nexus, and the Galaxy Note.
I don't miss removing the back cover as HTC has the restart option if the 1X starts to act up, I thought not having the SD card slot would be bothersome, but so far I have not needed more memory.
Count me in as a satisfied user

I'd say they squeezed a triple out of what shoulda been a standing double.

Have the ATT black One X. Bought it off contract at Best Buy. I think it is a hit (in my opinion and for what I need).

Pure greatness, best phone I've owned since my Nexus One.. And I've owned a few. I wish battery life was better but I got used to carrying an external charger when I started buying Japanese androids... One X is better but still could use some improvement.
Everything else has been flawless for me, even multitasking. I was always running some kind of sense rom on my N1, it's good to have a sense rom that doesn't bug out or isn't hacked to work on the phone ;-)
Ps: international (Taiwan) version, unlocked.

Re: HTC One X: Hit or Miss?
All the more reason to hold on to my existing phone longer, as in until it dies! Seriously, if I wanted a non-removable battery, I would've chosen an iPhone. Shame on Android manufacturer’s for taking away that choice. That's something I'd expect from Apple.

Re: HTC One X: Hit or Miss?
Packed up my HTC One X's lil travel bag & gave her a fond fairwell yesterday....
Honestly, with those ridiculous yellow smilees, no remov SD Card, non remov batt, no Menu Button, Sense locking up multiple times a day and countless bugs and quirks not to mention her $549.00 pricetag (i wasn't due for an upgrade), i gotta tell you, i don't miss her.
She is def a sexy looking device to be sure, but not worth all the tradeoffs....
IF i were due an upgrade/new customer & the price tag was 199.00, AND if i were coming from a single core outdated phone, i DEFINITELY would have not parted with her. In her own right it is an awesome device, but for a fussy, picky, female phone junkie, it had a couple of shortcomings i personally wouldn't of been able to overlook.
BTCLost In LG Optimus G Pro Heaven, Lvg A Msg, Maybe I'll Call...(doubt it ) lol
