    Annnnnnd I just saw my status changed from shipping today to TBD. Mine is gray, as well. I'm with you, voipben, TBD is somehow better. At least I'm not expecting a potential package tomorrow.

    I'd love to be able to run a business like this. "Your order is approved and will ship today! No, tomorrow! The day after! The day after that! Okay, it's all set to go and it's in the mail! Wait, no it's not! What did you order again?"

    Just got this from Radio Shack Social Media:

    I apologize for all the conflicting information at this point. The wireless group that fulfills our web sales had an issue that affected some orders. At this point, the issue is expected to be corrected by this evening and currently, the latest that the phones will ship is going to be tomorrow. The information you receive from the reps will be the most accurate regarding your order.

    I apologize for this issue once again. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us.

    Same thing happened to me. Radioshack assured me my pre-order One X would ship yesterday...it didn't. Customer service said they had internal pricing issues and couldn't ship until resolved (told me prices from $49 - $199). They hoped to have it resolved by end of day Wednesday. Very bootleg!

    Long story short...I canceled and bought from a local Wal-Mart

    My biggest frustration is their lack of email information. When you place your order, they're pretty clear that they want us to stay informed of our purchase... that they'll email us at least once every 3-4 days until our phone ships... deadline's passed bud.

    That's a really good attitude, Lenient P. It must have been really fun to see it change after being in "shipping" mode. I wonder how many others had that sweet experience.

    Latest update on Facebook, with my comment and a response:



    RadioShack As many of you noticed, our partner had a site outage roughly 30 minutes after our Social Media update that impacted their website and internal systems. All orders not processed yesterday will get shipped out within the next 24 hours. Please rest assured that we're working to get these orders shipped as soon as possible. Thanks again for your patience.

    Dave ‎24 hours! So not necessarily today? Someone at Radio Shack needs to take a class in setting expectations.

    RadioShack ‎Dave - yes, by 24 hours, we meant they'll ship today. Sorry for being unclear.


    And now my Estimated Ship Date shows today. We'll see.

    Same here all circles checked except shipped we will see. I will never order a phone from Radio Shack again, they did ship me a blue tooth hands free device for the trouble but still I will never buy a cell phone from them again and I don't know if I will buy anything else from them either.

    Radio Shack activated my One X and now my old phone does not work I did an upgrade not a new line so now I have no phone, I am on the phone with them now this is the most un professional, clueless company I have ever dealt with

    Per Radio Shack they can not re-activate my old phone I will have to wait for my new phone to arrive so now I have no phone this is my only line of communication so hopefully my house doesn't catch fire or something tragic happen until the FedEx guy brings my my new phone.

    I just got an email from AT&T saying my plan was changed...Ouch! I had the unlimited DATA Plan. I'm currently on the phone with AT&T trying to get the unlimited data plan back. Since it has already been changed she has to put in a ticket to get it resolved...Hopefully this doesn't come back to bite me in the A$$.

    The reason I paid the extra through at&t was because I was told I wouldn't be able to keep my unlimited data if I went through amazon. They did it for me last upgrade but I was under the impression they don't anymore. Hopefully they'll be accommodating to you!!

    Radio Shack also put me on the wrong data plan I had Unlimited data and was assured I could keep it, so now AT&T has to escalate my case to some one because they can not change it if I lose my data plan I will be Radio Shacks worst nightmare. I have launched a complaint with AT&T about Radio Shack.

    Status shows shipped w/ a tracking number. I just got a call from AT&T about my Data plan and they switched it back. Man that was less then 10 mins after I called them to inquire about my loss of unlimited data.

    called AT&T prior to ordering from RS and got confirmation that they would switch my plan back. Since they activated my new phone already (before it was even shipped) I called AT&T to get the rate plan switched back. After spending 40 minutes on the phone with a very upbeat girl with a southern accent named Christy, I was told they had to open a ticket and I would get a response by May 18th. But she also mentioned that any overages I incurred because of the wait would get refunded back to me.

    So.. Yay for that. Oh, and I also got confirmation that my order was shipped and a tracking number was generated. So let's just hope that in 24 hours this craziness will be done with for everyone!

    I bet AT&T calls you back today and fixes everything. They did for me.

    Wow,
    So glad I decided to just grab one from AT&T on the morning of the release. Reading these horror stories, I'll never pre-order anything.

    I was feeling pretty blase' about the whole thing as well. But when I was at AT&T getting my iphone re-activated due to the whole pre-activation thing, I got to play with the floor model One x. I am very much back to super excited. That phone is SCREAMING fast, and I don't even have LTE here yet.
