Cool First Siri now S voice, HTC One?

I am pretty surprised HTC didn't come up with their own version of Siri or now S voice. Anyone know which app out there which can work as good as Siri or S voice? I

Honestly I could not care less about a feature like Siri. It's cool for like 5 minutes and then it's like meh... definitely a feature I feel gets hyped way too much.

I am a man, why in the world do I need to have a full-fledged conversation with my phone?

One of the things I liked about Blackberry is that those phones were strictly business, and didn't include gimmicks like this crap.

I agree it is just a gimmick. As a phone addict, i have been there and back again with many iphone 4S'. I feel androids voice control is much better and more useful then siri. This could be because as a tech guy i "have a sense" howto speak to voice rec. software. I like speeching and having a search done, great for finding addresses and quickly being able to launch navigation!

Once Siri is out of Beta and they open the API to developers people will use it more. There have been some great hacks for Siri on jailbroken IPhones. Honestly I was surprised by Samsung and S voice. If you have seen it then you will know it looks just like Siri down to the weather display. You would think Samsung would have learned by now not to copy Apple, but I guess they haven't. Just another thing Apple will sue Samsung for.

The only time it may be useful is when driving and searching for directions, trying to call someone.

Voice commands on android and Windows Phone is all i need personally.

I realize others might like those features more...but i'm good with dictating speech mostly....and a quick "call" command.

If i need to know the weather its on my widget in front of my face. Calender entry could be useful...but not sure if i'd use it all too often.

The old battle, does intellectual propriety actually exist? Can an idea be forever owned? I think not, go Samsung, steal the skin off apple.

Yes it exists just ask any of the many companies in global IP battles. Even Apple is not free of patients. The issue with Sammy is not just IP etc. it's how far they go into copying Apple from the packaging to the icons all the way to the power adapter. They even had apple icons in their Italian store. Now S is just another copy of Siri all the way down to the feel and look.

I use all the command features, the questions do seem a little silly.

I'd also like to add the fact that a voice feature is most usefull in a vehicle, as stated before..

Most cars with bluetooth connectivity boost the feasibility of voice commands on a device.. not strictly mobile..

ford has introduced sync to their production line, which comes with its own voice commands!

From experience, you look like a knob using voice commands in public.. #justsaying
