....and I have to say it is the best smartphone I've ever seen or held in my hands. It is just perfect in every way. Feels solid, even though it is on the lighter side. Perfect balance. And everything you've read about the screen is true. It is just amazing. I think it is safe to say that I'm done with the iPhone as soon as my contract is over in the next few weeks. The HOX white is going to be my next phone for sure.

Seriously I don't think I've ever been blown away by any electronic gadget the first time I used it as much as the HTC One X and that includes my MacBook Air, iPad, my iPhone 4/3G and Samsung Captivate. Only the 3G comes close because it was the first smart phone I ever used and coming from a dumb phone it was an entirely different experience.

That's awesome. So not even the supposedly "beautifully different" lumia 900 didn't impress you enough to not get the one x?

It's funny you mention the Lumia 900. My wife and I were at the AT&T store to return hers when I decided to check out the HOX. The Lumia is a nice phone but WP7.5 just had too many quirks that my wife wasn't crazy about. She was mighty impressed with the HOX as well and I think she is actually thinking of getting it now. She came from a Samsung Captivate and wanted to try something new. But I think she has now realized that she will be most happy with another Android device.
