    Default birthday notifications???

Ok I keep getting birthday notifications on my lock screen. Pretty sure they are from my Facebook contacts. I can't figure out how to turn them off for the life of me. I turned off FB notifications in the Calendar settings and in the lock screen settings but I continue to receive them. How can I stop them?

I had this problem on my old Blackberry. Man, it is irritating. I don't have it on my HOX, and I'm glad. I wish you could turn the darn FB birthday thing off altogether--everyone has a frigging birthday, I don't care to be notified.

Mine keep coming back too and it seems that everytime there's a new birthday I have to redo the settings and save them again. Kinda irritating for sure.

This one did my head in for days..

Go to Settings->Personalize->Lock Screen Style->Settings->Display calendar events from

Un-tick Facebook (or just set it the same as your Multi-Calendar settings).

Try it again, i dont understand how it cant be that..
Maybe try match the lock screen notifications exactly with your multiview calendar (calendar app).

I have fixed this problem (for myself anyway...)

I did TWO things to fix this problem... I'm not 100% sure if both are needed to stop this problem, or which fixed it. But none the less its easy.

I did the following steps posted by foordy88.

Go to Settings->Personalize->Lock Screen Style->Settings->Display calendar events from
Un-tick Facebook (or just set it the same as your Multi-Calendar settings).

BUT - I also did this next step...

    Settings->Accounts & sync->facebook-> and the unsync contacts/calendar.

    Hope that helps.

Ill buy you all a coffee!! yes you need to do the 2 steps - other wise the sync will just bring it back and mess with you sanity yet again.
Even turning off FB being allowed to access friends data doesnt stop this happening. which seems to be a breach of privacy. but all fixed now.

Disable the facebook app that came on the phone.
There are two of them. You don't need either.
