Dropbox question

I have 3 songs in my dropbox at this moment. When i go to play them from dropbox i cant go do something else like check G+ or anything the music stops. Is there a setting i need to check or what am i missing. When i use google music it plays in the background with no problems, thanks for your help.

Why not just stick to the google music for music and use drop box for video and photos?

I don't think dropbox works that way. There are apps that will play your music from your dropbox account. Or use google music or amazon player. Both are designed to stream music to your phone.

Appreciate the help i thought using dropbox would help with all the music i have not using so much space on my phone.

try downloading real-player and see if that sorts it but yeah lets be honest...You should have enough space on your phone to hold all your music and everything else.

Dropbox is meant to be a file viewer and not a "media player" if you will. Using Google Music player or the Amazon music player as others have mentioned is the way to go. Both are free and will give you lots of space (Google does it by song count, IIRC).
