That's the reason I got a Thunderbolt instead of a Nexus S last year. Once you see those speeds, it's hard not to have it.

Just outside Atlanta. I get consistent 28 now and I think they expanded a little because I didn't get LTE at my apartment until a few days ago.

I was in Norcross last week for business and was hitting mid 20's, which made coming back to my home area which is non LTE miserable.
For me it was the same as when I got my 1st HD TV and thought "how did I ever watch sports in non HD?"

Here in Alpharetta its very fast. Lawrenceville has great coverage. I tried Sprint and its pathetic comapred to att.
