I haven't been able to make Skype work on my htc one x (AT&T). My login attempts are failing. The same login works on multiple PCs.

I see some references to this problem others are having. But I haven't seen any htc 1x users mentioning about this problem.

I didn't have issues logging in but when I make a call I apparently look green like shrek with lines through the picture like an old tv show.

Changed the skype password into a longer one. I'm able to log in, but I got the green problem on the receive side. Skype did warn me when I reinstalled the software that the device is not supported.

I have no problem with Skype, on my International version of the HOX.

I did find thtat the front facing camera pretty much sucks on this phone.
Every time I use that "Mirror" app, it gets Ugly!!!.

Do take a tissue or lense cleaner to that tiny front facing Cam before you get on Skype.
It tends to get messy in there.

Is the ATT hox able to use Skype well off hspa and lte?

I haven't had occasion to do a video call on 3g/hspa, but audio only is crystal clear.
Audio does not use that much bandwidth on skype. I've made skype calls (voice only) on EDGE networks. Skype is bandwidth adaptive.
