When are we going to get the OEM docks??? What's the deal?

So, I got rid of my One X because of buggy issues that apparently have been worked out. Wanted to give it another try, but I can't get the OEM car dock or the OEM desktop dock...

What is going on???

Why can they not keep up wit the demand???

I hear the OEM desktop speaker dock will not work with the US version either, anyone else heard that?

It does not show up.

How about the car dock???

Everyone has been out of stock on both of those forever...

I must say you can't really experience the inside and outs of a HTC phone setup unless you actually go through the process.

You probably need all your email passwords for all your various accounts (Yahoo, Hotmail etc) ready, but do take note that you would be better off using the in-built Gmail app instead of the main HTC mail app for that particular account.

You need to setup WIFI and the location service Google usually have on Android phones, plus Carrier IQ.

It's all about downloading the apps you want and arranging them from the app drawer onto the home screen into preferably folders or standalone. This differs from Iphones in that all the apps are simply dumped onto the launcher.

Overall, you are probably not going to get as smooth as the experience you get on an Iphone, and not all of your Iphone apps may be present on Android, but the HTC One X is the closest you can get IMO.

I got the HTC car dock by walking into the store and asking to order it. They shipped it to me in two days. First commute in to work with it today, and it works fine. No AUX input, which is a bummer, but the dock is otherwise very nice. Leaves much of the phone uncovered, which I got to think will help with the heat in the Summer time. They get warm up there. I should have kept the white one and given the wife the grey.

I placed the order on June 30th.

Just checked it again today, order is still processing.

They took my $ fast enough, and never mentioned it was out of stock or backordered.

Seidio has a desktop charger that will work with thier cases. It's half the price. The car dock doesn't use the POGO pins anyways. I'm disappointed that the POGO pins have not been properly utilized

I received mine in about 2 weeks. The dock works great by the way. I wish you could customize what apps show up on the home screen of the car mode, but not a huge deal.

I loved the one x when i had it,but i dont think it sold too well and plus their gonna be making the one x + which i believe will do much better in sales then the one x. I think they decided not to make the docks cause it didnt sell too well. Sorry to disappoint..

I use the HTC official car dock every day. I walked into at att store, asked for it, paid, and it showed up at my house the next day.

Just wish it had an aux.

I've been thinking of ordering the Euro desk dock for my International One X, and changing out the power plug (if necessary).

Nope, it was for the Int'l version only. Ended up returning it for a refund.

I ordered it a month before it was released, they changed the page to include "does not fit AT&T version" right before they shipped it to me...

I just ordered the one for the international version from Amazon, and it shipping from Britain, confirmed tracking number received, and, shipping included, it's costing less than half the price in your link.
