Stock Android on HTC One X?
Sorry if this is a noob question, I have never tried flashing any rom on my android devices before, but is there anyway I can just get the jelly bean installation file and install stock andriod 4.1 on my one x, like I can with a windows install disc? Thanks for your help.

There's a "working" JB Rom, but a lot of the stuff is broken. Guess for people to test and play around with it.

Re: Stock Android on HTC One X?
Thanks. Is CM9 clean stock from google, or is it modded? I've googled and from what I can tell it seems like its modded but not sure. Sorry for all the questions, I'm new at this.

Re: Stock Android on HTC One X?
What kind of enhancements? The reason I want stock is that I figure it would have better performance, meaning less crashes, battery life, and more consistence performance with less stutter and everything just consistently working. I don't care about the "look" of stock android, just want the best performance.

Re: Stock Android on HTC One X?
If you want the best performance from a custom ROM, I would try CleanROM. It is a debloated sense 4.0. It comes with MODs that can help you enhance mutitasking and OC. It has better battery life and runs smooth as butter. The current CM9 and AOKP ROMs are pretty good but without source code there are still plenty of bugs. The enhacements are related to battery, lock screen and other options that make the experience more enjoyable to the user by allowing it to be customized.

Re: Stock Android on HTC One X?
According to everything I've read there is not a way yet to unlock the bootloader, root the phone, and use custom apps for the att HOX...so I'm super intrigued by this discussion. Could someone point me in the right direction for getting stock ICS on my HOX...I love HTC hardware but I can't stand their software. I had hear that Sense was toned down with Sense 4.0...but not enough for me. I need me some stock!
Thanks in advance peeps!
