What are you using for OSX syncing?

They need apps for their toy Macs. Get a real computer, Windows. Problem solved. Nobody makes Mac software because their user base is so small.

I'm using Contacts Sync for Google Gmail (Mac App Store) because I couldn't get the built-in sync to work properly or reliably.

For photos I'm using Dropbox. I can't imagine giving up iPhoto for Picasa (desktop), but right now it's less than ideal.

I also purchased Sparrow for Mac, which I love because it means everything looks the same on my desktop as it does in Gmail on my phone.

For music, I'm debating between letting Google Music transfer my iTunes library online, or using Spotify. I have a fair number of Apple Lossless files which won't sync via either, so I need to convert everything first. Mostly, I just use Spotify Premium.

Would love some advice on two-way syncing photos between iPhoto and Android.

Gak!

You can't get Google Contacts to sync with your phone!!

I have never heard of anyone having that problem on any android device.

If i make a change on the web its on my phone before I can even get my hands off the keyboard.

Same for calendar.

I think what we're seeing here is iPhone converts clinging to their Apple security blanket.

iSyncr is an app that allow you to sync your iTunes playlist with your android phone. Works great for me !
Dropbox for my pictures, otherwise my google account for my contacts.

+1 for iSyncr from me too...if the playcounts and date played are important to you, then you should get iSyncr because it can sync those back to iTunes.

Oh yeah, and Dropbox for pictures/video for me too.

(btw, I'm using a Thunderbolt, but I see no reason this wouldn't work except there is a slightly different procedure for using a HC/ICS device - JRT Studio: iSyncr - Honeycomb And Later Tutorial)

I use Google for contacts and iCal to Google calendar syncing. For music, I use iSyncr and for photos is use Cheetah. No problems with any of these methods an have been using for well over a year.

The best option would be to sync your files with Syncmate. You can sync different file types on differnet platforms. Files such as music, videos, contacts, images can be synchronized on different platforms including Mac, Windows Phone, Blackberry either through a USB Cable/ Wi-Fi. It's awesome, I tried it already.
