I have gone through about 5 different Bluetooth / FM Transmitters. So far, the Motorola Roadster has been the best by far. Here's a link to the info:

I only used it for a few days after I bought my HTC OneX. Then I bought a new car with BT built in. I was not able to get the text to speech working, but I didn't play with it much either, and I use a 3rd party app for texts so I can't comment on that part. But the music clarity and call clarity were both really good on the device.
