Links not working in mail program.

Hi all, another problem I'm having is that when I open an email, and it has a link,. It's not a hyperlink. Just the text, but so I can't open it. Suggestions?

If it is a full hyperlink will it open it?
If it is https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...tp%3A%2F%2Fwww.htc.com%2Fus%2F&token=Xfzas7OS will it work?
But it fails if it's just www.htc.com?
Is that what you mean?

If both fail it might be the default application selection in the settings. (AT&T only).

I ended up using K9 mail which seems to be the go to app of choice for mail. Funny thing is that K9 mail didn't work either, however if I make sure and click and hold, making sure I'm precisely on the link, it pops up an option to open link in browser or something like that and it worked. It's a pretty good work around and I'm happy with it for now.

Thats because you should use Gmail in the Gmail app, not the Mail app.

My Hyperlinks were not opening in my email but it was the settings in my Samsung browser that were at fault. Go to browser settings, useful features, and allowed Apps and make sure your email is set as a allowed app. Mine was for some reason turned off! Possibly after a recent update.
