    Default Notifications

    Hi everyone,

After switching from iphone4 to HTC one X+ I am dissapointed by the notification possiblities. I want to be able to acces my notification center from any place, even in games, just swipe down and there it is, is this possible? Furthermore i would like to see some badges for whatsapp, and previews in banners of the actual message. Do you know the solution to my frustrations? Thanks in advance!

Expandable notifications in the bar are in JB.
The notification bar will actually show at least the first line of text message.
As for badges see if ADW notifier works with that app.

Correct the updated notification bar is in jellybean (jb). Far as games depends when you pause it certain games can allow it. But by default Google left that up to the developer. So it differs on each game. Far as badges idk what your talking about. Is that an ios thing?

I believe he is talking about the number that appears in the top right hand corner of an icon with the number of notifications for that particular app.

You can get the unread counts with 3rd party launchers. I use Nova, and they have a plugin called Teslaunread. Gives me the unread counts, missed calls, etc as little numbers above the app shortcuts wherever they might be. It even floats them above a folder that includes a shortcut with a counter. Fairly slick. Link to app below shows a screenshot of what it looks like.
