Download an app called hide it pro its free. And shows up as audio manager in the app drawer. Below is a link to the app. I have been using it on my nexus 7 and all my android devices. Great app.

Try 'Quickpic' also. It's a great alternative gallery that works very well, looks great, has several organization features (including the ability to hide photos).

Iv found that Hide It Pro works best

I've tried Hide It Pro & QuickPic but find MediaVault works best as it hides media from ALL Apps including File Explorers which QuickPic doesn't.
