Poor battery life after JB update

Did the update to jb and now my battery doesn't even last half the day etc. I have even went as far as turning WiFi and mobile data of and doesn't make a difference. Please help me or I'm thinking this things gonna go bye bye I don't know what else to do. No root fully stock att HOX to scared to root

I changed the title so more people might help.

Did you do a factory reset after the update? After a large update like this it's recommended.
