Wi-Fi connection problem for my HOX

Hi Guys,
My HOX android version is 4.1.1, HTC Sense Version 4+, Software number 3.20.401.1, HTC SDK API Level 4.63. I am having problem with wifi connection. my wife's cheap LG mobile connects my home wifi (Router is just downstairs by the door. which is like 12metres away from my room) and mine cant connect. it can hardly connect but again drop back where as i can brose internet, watch youtube nicely from my wife's LG mobile. its not even happening in my home. its happening in the office as well. my HOX cant get signal just from the other room in the office and all of my colleagues phones connect wifi....is there any solution or anyone else having the same issue with it. please guys help me.

It may be a bad phone as in like send it to services to check for loose cables inside the phone. Have you tried rebooting your phone?
