Sprint normally releases phones on Fridays. So maybe the 15th? Only a day difference so I'll take either!
Good to know. Phone is sick, my upgrade is eligible 08/13

That's great news. My upgrade is April 1st. Can't wait!!!

Too Bad those of us with an April 1st upgrade can't use the rebate. Really bummed:'(
Have you tried to see if Sprint will allow you to upgrade a few weeks early? Maybe call them or go by one of the Sprint stores and check, since you are that close! I know they helped my Dad out once last year when his prior phone died, and they let him upgrade ahead of time (a month or so early, IIRC). I've know I've heard of other folks in the past who were allowed to upgrade a little early as well.Quote:

I would seriously question any Sprint reps that tell you they have the device two weeks before launch. They might have the accessories, but the phones usually only come in a day or two ahead. They aren't going to let launch day stock sit in the back room for 2 weeks.Quote:

And as said, launches are almost always Friday, with preorders arriving a day or two ahead.

I went I today Rep told me he didn't know. I said I heard 14th , he said I doubt it, since we don't have any for training.Quote:

Yeah. They don't usually have devices for training, but there is a training course that will come out. We'll probably hear more about that in a couple days.

I know that it will be this month. Just not sure on a date yet.
The 14th is incorrect. All phone launches will be on Friday this year. Like a previous poster stated, phones don't arrive in stores until, at most, two days before launch. Accessories usually hit about the same time. There has been no advocate announcement, no training deck.
If I had to guess, it will be the 22nd. Unless they have a brain fart, Sprint will not release it on Easter weekend, since stores are closed that Sunday.
I haven't heard that before. Where did this come from?Quote:

Sprint sent a memo out stating that instead of releasing phones on Sundays like they used to, they wanted to change it to Fridays. I don't have any hard evidence at the moment. I do however work for them :)Quote:

Waiting so patiently for a release date. Hopefully it's soon.
Does anyone know if the new HTC One on Sprint will work on 3G?
4G LTE Has not made it to Columbus, Ohio yet on Sprint.
Thanks!
Ummmmm. What does that mean???Quote:

It will work on any broadcast sprint signal.

I don't think it has WiMax support though, so that leaves out 4G non-LTE for Sprint.Quote:
