I'm more concerned about dings and denst from drops than I am scratches. Also, I'm pretty sure that drops are what they did the the edges.

Um, I dropped mine and it still has scratches and a tiny dent on one of the chamfered edges. Case is coming on Monday and I definitely need it to hide the shame.

Don't think that will be an issue. 9 is a very high Mohs scale hardness. Diamond is just about the only thing higher (its a 10).

That's awesome that you can do that. Obviously we can't. If it bothered us that badly we would have bought an S4 instead. Also, thanks for a post that had nothing to do with the original topic. There are enough S4 vs One threads as it is, keep your trolling there please.

Ya, not gonna happen. I'm tired of a few users turning every single thread into a competition between the S4 and the One. This thread has nothing to do with the S4. S4 back replacement prices can have their own thread over in the S4 section.

I own a One too, in case you've missed my posts. Many many people are considering both and going back and forth over their decisions.

Went to the store today to play with the S4 and HTC One. I scratched both with my keys and the HTC One didn't stay scratched. The S4 got permanent marks.
The scratches on the plastic of the HTC One stay permanent but luckily it doesn't have a lot of plastic.

The S4 on the other hand, I scratched the back and it got killed. The silver bezel shows scratches really easily. You can't replace that cheaply!

Then discuss the One in threads about the One, and play your games in the other 100 threads full of people like yourself who are determined to turn these forums into utter crap. Or start a thread about the plastic replaceable back on the S4 if you like, but leave these people alone for a while.
