Dropbox Photos Not showing in Gallery

I had this exact issue on my EVO LTE and was never able to figure it out. I've logged into dropbox via the app itself, as well as made sure it's an online service to be included within the gallery app. When I select dropbox in the gallery app though, the only folder displaying is a "sample album" folder. Was really hoping to take advantage of the integration in the gallery app for ease of viewing and accessing photos. Other online services like Picassa work fine, no issues. Any ideas?

Works on mine. See a dropbox album on same screen as picassa and flickr. Open the album and the pics are there. Not sure why yours is not working. Perhaps the phone has created a new drop box account and that is why you are seeing only samples?

I've unlinked my dropbox account, then re-linked, and still nothing. Can't be a coincidence that it never worked for me on my EVO either. Just wish I could figure it out!

And you have pictures in the picture or cameral upload folders?

I don't have camera uploads enabled, but all photos in my other folders that I've created are there when I open them within the app. Essentially, the app is fully functional, there's just no communication between my dropbox account and the gallery despite going thru the setup of my account in the gallery app.

I am trying to tell you that the gallery only syncs to 2 folders (and any subfolders). "Photos" and "Camera Uploads". The folders within the dropbox app actually have little gallery images on them. That is where the gallery looks for pics. If you don't have any in those folders, they won't show up.

Try moving some photos into those folders and see.

Create an album on the Dropbox website

After signing in, click on Photos in the sidebar on the left.
Click on the photos you want to be part of the album. A blue border and checkmark will appear on each selection.
In the blue bar across the top of the page, click the Add to album... button.
Select New album from the menu and enter the album name.
You can also create an album by clicking + Create new album in the sidebar on the Photos page.

Dude, thanks for the tip. That did the trick! I would've never known I had to move all my folders to the "photos" folder. I figured the folders I created would be recognized on their own, but the "photos" folder is the key to syncing. Thanks!

Hey I'm new here, but i think i can help.
The answer, quite bizarrely, is that HTC will only recognise the folder 'Camera Uploads' AND any folder you rename/name to be "Photos". Otherwise they wont show up in the gallery!
Had my HTC One (first android phone) for 4 days, and this had been winding me up, thankfully i stumbled on the answer :)
Hope that helps!

You do know that this isn't the S4 board don't you? What do you mean by all that crap? One time setup that take a minute or so doesn't sound like all that crap to me. Thanks for your input but this post was no help to the OP or the owners of an HTC ONE.

I have albums in my photos folder. The album's are showing but I can't see pictures inseide. Do the photos have to be just in the photos folder. I have a lot so don't want them all in one.
