Interesting! I wonder if this is why when looking at the tempered glass screen protector from Spigen the other day it stated "Works with software update...xxx...and above," and thought it was odd that a screen protector would require an update. Thinking now that some people have reported home button issues, that would make sense I suppose.

I just updated 30 minutes ago. The version is 1.29.651.10 (Sprint One).

1.29.651.7 to 1.29.651.10. Didn't really have much of an issue before update but back and home button's do feel better.

Since this is the first Android-based phone I've owned, I'm a little nervous about updating. There were ALWAYS glitches whenever my BB phones would update. Sometimes, very bad glitches.

Anything I need to be concerned about here?

hmm that looks like more of a carrier thing, not something I would think we have anything to do with the buttons. But, I have no idea.

Yea, I'd think the same, but it definitely is a carrier update because it also contained updates to specific Sprint app/s.

Thank the gods. I hope this does help with the buttons. I often have to double and triple tap because I miss then. Coming from the S3 I am used to super sensitive and responsive buttons .

Well HTC sends the carrier the update and then I'm guessing sprint reviews it and adds some of their junk as well

Man huge improvement in sensitivity of the button! That was the only real thing that bothered me about this phone.
