Is there a way to listen to .wav files and not have them get downloaded to my phones memory every time? When listening to them from the stock mail icon, they are not downloaded to memory, but from the Gmail app they are. I would use the stock email every time, but once in a while, it fetches the .wav file and takes forever to download. The Gmail app is instantaneous though.

I know .wav files are kind of archaic, but hey my business answering service is only $27 a month. Can't beat that!

....open with... (your media player here) should just stream..... i recommend mx player... hope that helps

Where are you finding "open with"? I tried A long press, but did not find this option.

EDIT - I actually didn't even get the option as MX Player became the default player as soon as I downloaded it. Problem averted thanks!
