noob question here... how do i activate my device with google?
i am getting the following message:
'No Active Devices
Before you can use ADM, you must have an active android device'.
thanks!
Maybe go to settings>sercurity>device administrators> and activate ADM.
If you don't have ADM in under device administrators, clear data of Google Play Store and reboot your device.

Went into Android Device Manager on PC and it works well except the ringing part on my Nexus 10. The tablet itself will not go off when it's silent or on vibration mode when I hit "Ring" button. On the other hand, my GS2 works when it's on silent or vibration. Is it just me who is experiencing with this issue?

If your Android device doesn't appear in Android Device Manager, or if you see Unknown location despite your device being online and running Google Play services version 3.2.25 or higher, follow these steps:
Open Google Settings from your device's apps menu.
Touch Android Device Manager.
Uncheck Allow remote factory reset.
Go to your device's main Settings menu, then touch Apps > All < Google Play services.
Touch Clear Data. Note that this action doesn't remove personal data.
Go back to Google Settings and select Allow remote factory reset.
Restart your device.
Once your device restarts, wait around five minutes and refresh android.com/devicemanager.

Both my devices (Nexus 4 & Nexus 7 FHD Running 4.3 sock) show up in ADM w/ wipe & ring options available but, when trying to locate it just says 'Location Unavailable'. All location settings are turned on with both my devices. Tried disabling and re-enabling all location options & restarting the devices multiple times. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Everyone
