Am I the only one who loves Blinkfeed?

I am surprised at the critics on this thing. You could pick literally any category of news to receive and go into more details on the specifics of what you want to be updated on and read about.

from celebrities to news to sports to IGN to movies, and so much more and like i said you could go into sub-topics like for sports you could pick what sport, etc

and it never hurts to read about the world news and whats going on in your country and others.

what are your thoughts and feelings towards Blinkfeed?

Eh it's just there. I kinda like it but it's not totally necessary. I can see where HTC was trying to go with this but I just think that they made it a bit too restrictive.

I really like BlinkFeed. I have it set up with all if the topics that I want to read about it's a quick way to look at interesting stuff without browsing the web.

It's not perfect, but nothing is. I wish you could select more sources, but that programming may be limited. Also, I agree that it should be able to be turned off if wanted.
anyways, a great feature that helps make the phone.

I wish it had more intelligence though, maybe more like a content curator than a feed aggregator.

What I mean is this:

If I'm interested in smartphone, science and technology news, I can for example select The Verge, Tech Crunch, CNet feeds. But then, as is the case with the web these days, I'll see the same news repeated over and over again as each of these blogs repeat them. Ok, so instead I'll just select the "smartphone" and "science" feeds, right? But these feeds also pick news from the other sources, and also end up repeating themselves.. So in the end, I just choose say The Verge and ignore the other sources, potentially missing out on a few things that the other sources might post, but at least I get way fewer duplication.

AND THEN some Facebook contacts re-post the same news from these blogs, so I again have duplication...

For the rest, I enjoy Blinkfeed, it doesn't get in my way, sometimes stuff catches my eye that I wouldn't have searched for otherwise, and it's a little bit more dynamic than a typical homescreen. I've gotten used to it and find my N7 bland without it lol, yes even with widgets. Widgets don't combine all the sources that Blinkfeed does. I hope Blinkfeed keeps getting updates so it can get G+ support and a few others..

I love how I could read about NFL game scores and news, video game news, movie news, and reading about United States and Syria, all in a flick of my thumb.

It comes with great graphics and eye catching picture feeds.

How awesome is that?

I love it. I want them to keep making it better but I use it every single day. I like it better than other apps like say... Flipboard. Gets me the latest news that I'm interested in and makes it easy to share. If they polled the community on possible new features to add, it would be even better.

Love it, when I'm in the bus it keeps me nice and busy reading up on new tech and world news. It also looks nice on the htc one, aesthetically speaking, with the panels all flip flopping about.

I regularly used Flipboard before I got the One, so naturally I like it. It looks great but HTC needs to work on it a bit more to allow more customization for RSS and maybe allow to save different news to read later.

I would find it much more useful if they did something with the formatting.

In trying to make it look "hip" (I can only imagine that's what they're doing) by using different sized and shaped rectangles only makes it harder to figure out what an entry is. Often times you get a sliver of a photo and maybe one or two words of text representing an article. There is no way to know what the subject of the article is without opening the snippet.

Sort of defeats the purpose of being able to quickly glance through news/information. Granted opening them and checking the snippet is still faster than navigating to a webpage. But making every entry a reasonable size and shape so I can quickly flick through pages for articles of interest would make much more sense to me.

I use it and like it! Wish fox news was an option for more balanced news! It's almost too liberal socialist for me!

I like it.

I just wish you could add more feeds than what they offer.

I don't really mind it there. I've only got Facebook and technology news and occasionally click on an article. the other sources are pretty useless to me. there are days that go by without me even seeing my blink feed

I like Blinkfeed. I mostly follow tech, news, and weather. One swipe to the left and I have all my useful apps. I don't see the problem. Anyway, you can turn it off now.

I hate Blinkfeed. Just annoying and a waste of space IMO. Glad you can delete it finally on the newest update coming out.

I love Blinkfeed. I use it everyday to read short snippets of news, and I think it's easier to use than Flipboard or Feedly (which I also use occasionally).

I like it. It's the only reason I'm sticking with the Sense Launcher. I use it when I'm bored, and it's a nice screen to show off to ppl checking out my phone :p
