Evernote, OneNote and Keep are the most popular. The first two are multiplatform if it's something you value/need. I say try them and choose one.

I use Simplenote since it's finally been updated by the company. I've been a long time EverNote user and still love that software as well. However, for pure text performance, I prefer Simplenote, especially when needing to find information quickly. I do not recommend Google Keep at all, since you can easily delete your notes on the phone platform and there's no way to get them back. You delete them, they are gone. Whoever the geniuses are that put their mobile app together made a pretty bone-headed move to put the share button right next to the delete button. Won't be using that app again. Not when I have Evernote and Simplenote.

Evernote and Keep are good ones. There are others in the Play Store that are worth taking a look at.

I use Evernote. It has good functionality with the desktop Chrome browser too.
