    Default Converting to TWRP

I have ClockWord Mod Recovery installed and its V6.0.3..2. I wish to install a new ROM but it requires at least V6.0.4.5 and I can't seem to be able to upgrade. I was wondering if I change my recovery to TWRP and I manage to upgrade to the latest version would that help ?! I was wondering how do I actually convert ?! I have ROM manager installed and their seems to be an option to install the latest version of TWRP. If I install TWRP would I lose my phone data ?!

You just install the new version of Clockwork or TWRP right over your old one AFAIK.

I'm aware that installing a new ROM does wipe your phone its just that I wasnt sure if changing your recovery also does the same
